I hit some shoreline today. My buddy and I were en route to a spot that he found his cannonball at. Unfortunately, the massive amount of rain the other day changed the plans. We needed a boat to get there. What was a shallow little crossing turned into a neck high affair. So much for that cannonball....
We tried to walk around, but we ran into a cabin and a dog that heard us a mile away and started barking. Eaaaasy boy. We turned around. Poison ivy all through the woods too... I was walking around like one of the guys in the Vietnam newsreels, detector held over my head.
Anyway, as you will see in the picture below, the walk-able shoreline is a nightmare. It didn't yield too much.
On the bright side, the RP button was only a couple of inches down. I am surprised that it kept its form. I have found others in fields that were in worse shape than this one.
Next time, I am bringing a small inflatable boat!
