Need help to identify today's find. Looks like a Royal Crown shield/insignia. Found around NYC shorelines so it could be old. The size is approx 1.25" x 1.25"

there are several items you need to add when you post a "what is it " The most important is size

The size is in the original post : 1.25" x 1.25" (that is in inches).

Thanks Don, the design looks identical, the only thing is the back plate of the sample is smooth whereas mine is raised.

Those are fleur de lis, not doves. It looks like a stylized version of the crown of Mary of Modena - part of the British Crown Jewels.
