Round, threaded, measures 1.75", has a tiny whole in the center, brass if I were guessing.

This one is 1/2 inch with a small black glass piece in it. Copper or brass.
Both found at a 1800s home.

Thanks,

Second one is the socket of of a bulb, maybe from from a flashlight judging by the size. I'm guessing there's a protruding nub on the opposite side as well?

I am thinking you could be right. There is a nub on the other side. It is an old one.
Thank you, one of two solved.

Had a two litre box-like container with the same cap...had a cork circular gasket pressed inside. I was under the impression it was a 20s auto accessory.

Your round threaded item might be the cap to a fishing rod tube/case. The small hole would enable air to enter.

I once saw a small antique spyglass with a theaded brass lens cover that looked like your second item in a flea market once. I thought of buying it as it was well made, but in poor abused condition. The cap was just about the same diameter as this thing you found if I recall and I think it also had a tiny hole in the center. ?
