Round object with "C" in script...Any Ideas?

Got out for a couple hours this morning again. I have recently been finding things I have no clue what they are. I have learned a lot from this forum in the past. I found this possible medallion of some sort down about 8 inches on a hill. When I was handling it the top piece broke off. The metal is now pretty thin. I have not cleaned the back but it appears not to have any writing. Its about the size of a silver dollar.Thought it was a large cent at first because of the green in the dirt. The area I was hunting has not been farmed for some time and was the location of a CW battle in Maryland. Thanks for your help and Happy Hunting.

I agree.
My first thought was a key chain medallion, but those usually have round holes.
