Found the 1798 eight reale, and the Morgan dollar in an antique shop. I believe I got them at a good price. The V-nickle, the Round House token, and the broach came from the site I've been hunting by the River. I have no idea what the Round House token is, but it interesting. Hope you enjoy.

I was just going to say, that is pretty unusual. Nice to be able to trace where a coin has been. I was going to guess those chop marks indicated circulation in India, Tibet, China, or somewhere like that... or maybe all of them?

Great photos. I like the token and the brooch too.

I don't know if the Round House has something to do with the railroad, or what. The center of the token has the picture of large building. At least that what it looks like to me.

Hey Boyce, the Round House thingy is a railroad bib over-alls button. I have found them in Calvert too.

I just looked closer at the button....yup it's a roundhouse. My Grandfather worked in a roundhouse for years in Oneonta NY.The roundhouse there was I believe the largest in the world.

nice finds. and good score at the shop :icon_thumleft: MR TUFF

Thanks guys. That was the first I've ever heard of the railroad Round House. That was very interesting. That shop had another coin I was interested in, but I thought he was asking to much for it. It was a 3 cent piece. Had a star, and sheild on it. He wanted fourty dollars for it, and not in that good a shape. I found them on the computer for half the price in better shape. I will be checking that shop out a little more often tough.
