Found at old stone foundation, log cabin. I have pulled items ranging from late 1700s to 1970 from this site to include civil war era. The item is iron. The quarter will help with size and thickness. All the holes are same diameter and it appears to have teeth or gears on the outer edge, like a revolver cylinder. Any help on an ID or date range is appreciated.

Looks like one of the cutters for an old hand crank kitchen grinder.

Maybe some sort of metering device for powder or grains. Just a guess.

Maybe a wheel from a walking sprinkler.

Resembles a slip clutch gear from farm equipment .... Combines , hay balers , etc have slip clutch applications

The holes are meant to line up with something, because it has notches to advance it one hold at a time.

Seed Plate for a automatic planter? They came in different sizes for different seeds and planting distances. Just my guess. Check out the images on Google. Maybe you can identify what type of planter it is off of.
