Rough riders token/coin and dime

can not seem to find any info on this Rough Riders coin/token 1898-1978 U.S.V. with eagle on back very light weight to it

the dime has a black front and blue back wasnt sure if it was a rare dime ..cant seem to find one year 1968 P

Cuda, The dime is painted because it is a shill dime. A juke box owner places the machine in a bar. He paints these dimes and gives them to the bar to start a song to get people to select more songs with their dimes. When the coin box is emptied and split with the bar owner the shill dimes are removed before the split and given back to the bar to repeat. Was a dime then a quarter and now its iphone and paypal.

Same idea for painted quarters; used by apartment managers in the pay or laundry machines--then returned to managers when coin box is emptied.

Thanks ..I was thinking it was a token as well since there is no denomination on it..I just noticed that..lol..but I was looking on ebay sorta looks like a confederate coin..so maybe a confederate token not from the past but maybe made up to look like a old coin for some game machine maybe
