I had 2 places lined up for today's hunt, but as I was driving over, I had a feeling I should try 2 other spots first. I gotta follow my gut more often it seems, because today it paid off. First spot gave up the US Army collar button and 2 rosies, at the other I found the Barber, 4 wheats and the silver St Christopher medallion. The second spot was the grass strip outside the zoo which was opened in 1898, the same date as the quarter The St Christopher has a name on the back "Willis L Saunders" US Navy, which I thought was very cool. It was down a solid 7" whereas the Barber was maybe 4" deep.
