The two square things are part of a farm implement "chain". It serves the same function as a bicycle chain. Could be off a manure spreader, or planter or corn sheller . . . any number of things. Then you have the part of a kerosene lantern where the wick comes out, with the thumbwheel. No idea about the big thing though!
Washington State?
