Just wondering what there charging for a dozen red roses in your part of the country?
here in Austin I've seen $14.95 a dozen,this is a good price and I'm glad my wife doesn't like roses

Here in White Plains, New York they run anywhere from $19.99 at the supermarket for cheap looking ones to $39.95 for twelve "Madam Delbar" roses.

Florist charge $70-$90 for a dozen long stems starting Feb1 in the Phila area. Before that they are $40 and after the 14th they are $40.. This make believe holiday is all about Screwing!

It is always what is in demand. When they don't sell alot they are cheaper but when V-Day comes around the supply is low and they are in demand so they charge more. They are anywhere from $40 to $70 around here. This is one reason I do not buy flowers. Why buy something that is just going to die.

We don't buy till after valentines day, the roses look a whole lot better @ half price, same for candy! We're there for each other 365, 24/7. But it may not work for others.
