Hi All,
Found this old rooster button at a B/S scout camp (1935), does anyone know if it has any significance or meaning or is it, well just a button with a rooster on it?

Could you provide a picture of the back of the button. Yours has several possibilities. There was a jean company, woman's handbags, and women's shoes.

This is the closest I could find by Waterbury. We need a pic of the back as it may be an overalls rivet.

Ok so that rules out any backmark but we may be able to determine if its a coat button, shoe button or an overalls rivet by the picture. Front and back is SOP. By the size, Im leaning toward overalls rivet.

i would think your idea would be pretty close BigC , because i can not think of a button that would have a rooster other then farmers overalls ...lol

Does it look like a rusted overalls rivet on the backside? Is it solved?
