ROME - but wat is it ?

Hi.

Friend of mine found this item in Poland nearby Warsaw.
Looks like a Roman coin, but we think is some kind of pendant .
It's made of bronze.

Could anyone date it and give any info about this ?

Vercingetorix was a Gaulish (Celtic) leader who lead a revolt against the Romans in about 52BC.

This medallion/lucky token looks modern.

Certainly a modern fantasy piece by style and font. There are only a couple of Roman coin issues depicting Vercingetorix (just portrait..no name) that I am aware of and they are Republican Silver Denarii.

Lucky you. Personally I want one with the head of Gallia. I find her simply stunning =). Beauty in its purest form.
