Rome and surrounding area

Anyone have any info about the areas surrounding rome as it pertains to the civil war? Specifically fort attaway, cave spring, farmers bridge? Thinking about detecting arou d these areas after work this week and next. I don't get done until 7 and I'm coming from rockmart but I have all night and a headlamp if need be. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks all!
