Picture 1 is Cru'dad's 2 hour explore on the Roman Lion Site - 6 scrappies & a Roman Box Seal Lid (broken).

Today we tried to make the best of the bad windy rainy weather by driving around & seeing the state of play on some of our farms. We made a note of all the good options & we are in no danger of running out anytime soon!
As the Roman Metal Working Site was in a workable state - small 3 inch turn - we did a explore for 3 hours after the heavy rain.
We did OK:

14 Scarppies
Tudor Strap-End
Medieval Box Hinge
Charles I Penny

This is now our 4th outing in a row with a Hammered, pretty good for this time of year.

Do you had so much rain too? It's impossible to detect here right now. Most fields are flooded. Looks like the metal working site is still producing coins! Great!

Nice start to the field, looking forward to seeing what you get from it.

Well done again, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

We do have flooded areas of some low lying fields, but this high ground was OK, if not very sticky - 3 hours felt like 6.

Great find that looks like an absolutely tiny hammered silver yet it's complete! What a great lot of finds!!!! Thanks for sharing!
