In case you didn't read the last post, the Geophysical Survey shows a large 'T' shaped Roman Building, plus a couple of weird anomalies which still need explaining.
Today we gridded for just over 4 hours getting slowing further away from the main area. We still have some field to go but its a very low productive area.

Much better than expected result today;

19 Roman Coins, 3 OK ones.
Iron Age (Celtic) Fibula
Roman 1st C AD Fibula
My star find a complete Military Roman Strap-End (amphora shaped), my first complete example.8-)

Nice finds and thanks for the update!

Congratulations on some more great digs, beautiful finds. Time and again you have posted fibulas, and time and again I have been looking for a lower leg bones, until I looked up what it is. Now I know! LOL Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the update - continue to keep us posted! :icon_thumleft:

Nice selection of goods. That full length fibula is a nice find. Keep at it for the silver and gold!

Congratualtions on great finds! I love the Roman coins! :notworthy:

With these amount of bronzes it's time for a Denarius.
We were hoping for that today, but we have now covered all the area where the silver came from. Last Feb we had 7 silvers off this field, problem is that it needs a deep plough, as we are just getting the few scrappies we have missed. Missing a silver is a little more difficult as last year we hit it from 2 angles.
