I found this in a small 100'x50' area, that eventually yielded a military 45.70 shell casing, and two Indian Head cents...!
Recognize the Perspective and Roman Coliseum Image that it represents?
It is pressed brass, and intact, but What might have been it's Backing...??
How Old do you suppose it is?
1" in diameter.

I can give a yes answer to the first question and not a clue answers to the next two, but I can almost positively state that it will be a real long ti time if ever before any of us digs up another (now watch someone come up with another next week,lol.) Anyway that's a very unique find and congrats.

Most likely the front of a 3 piece button, late 19th C would be a close guess. (But you put no size??)
