I don't know what those coins are so it is difficult to tell the size of the objects, but #1 looks like an iron ring off a single tree (horse equipment). It took a lot of force to bend it out like that!

Thank you :) the size of the iron object is big enough to fit around a wrist I will post more pictures soon with measurements for more detail :)

None of the items are Roman...or old, the last item looks to be a piece of furniture decor.

Thank you ss the reason why I thought it was roman was because I matched it to a recorded roman bracelet on the portable antiques website but wanted other opinions. There is also a roman hill fort 1 mile from here with lots of open ground with a roman burial ground in one of the fields I go in :)

It sounds like you have a good area to search....look forward to some more finds.:icon_thumright:

Hopefully :) so far nothing roman apart from one coin :/ but I'm finding a lot of medieval items like barrel tap keys, brooches, buckles etc i found a 1890 silve sixpence in mint condition the other day and some lead trading weights just waiting for the gold relics haha !

SS is your man for IDing items in that area for sure , he has alot of knowledge over all , but guessing he would have more then us "yanks" when it comes to roman ID's.

The broken corner piece looks to be a Georgian shoe buckle piece. The last piece might be a furniture fittment like SS suggests, but I have seen this shape as a late Tudor/post medieval horse harness mount. However it should be bent over after it was mounted, makes me wonder if its 'pre-use'.

Mical66 I'm not suggesting that I have more knowledge than you I was merely stating my research I have done and what I think the reason why I posted this post was because I wanted a collected opinion as to what it is as I'm new to all of this, I meant no offence.
