Then

Good Luck. I had it in my thirties, too much lifting. They put a gauze patch in there over the tear. I couldnt go to the toilet for days after surgery because of the swelling. I came out of hospital after a day or two...my EVIL stepmother wouldnt look after the kids. I was stuck in bed with a 10 month old and a 3 year old needing feeding etc. My wife was at work....
Not the best of memories!
Cheers

Take it easy and I hope you have a fast recovery!

Been there done that! You get prepped, some meds, you blink and you are awake again and they tell you it's over, so my advice chat up the cute nurses before the surgery because afterwards they rush you out the door quickly.

Hope you have a quick recovery and get out there again soon!

Wishing you a successful surgery & a speedy recovery.

On the upside, they told me I would never get another Hernia. Apparently its *sort of* compulsary to operate incase your bowel pops through and gets strangled (laymans terms)

has no one seen the lawyer ad about that bad hernia mesh?

hiatal hernia is the man region?

A hiatus or sometimes called hiatal is when the stomach pops up through diaphragm and cause acid reflux or gerd!

Yeah you def want to fix a hernia as soon as possible... the small ones can be dangerous, and the big ones are harder to repair (ie: mesh).

I had a small one near my belly button, it's disturbing enough (if you can see it) to make you want to get it fixed right away. Luckily no mesh for me.

I've had a small one for 40 years. Burp!

Hope your recovery is quick........you'll be back swinging before you know it !!

Taker was my nurse and she was cute! LOL

At home recovering thanks for all well wishes.
