Rolex real or fake?

I found this "Rolex" the other day at an abandoned house and it looks real but idk. It's pretty worn down and no longer works but looks real. The missing crown on top of watch face is lose inside watch. The front says
Rolex
Waster quartz
Day-D and the rest of date is rubbed off
Superlative Chronomet and idk that word but could have missing letters at end
Officially certified

The corrosion on the metal doesn't look good. Open it up. If it has a battery it's fake. Tony

Rolex are mechanical, not quartz.
