The weather was nice, but the finds were slight.

I met up with TNetters Todd Lipe and Smittyman for a bit of hunting on Saturday. Smittyman was the big winner with a silver Washington... as soon as he got out of the truck, no less.

I was able to locate a 1964 Rosie, it was a sight for sore eyes when I flipped that plug over, and saw that little silver disc. I also scored a hand full of Wheaties and some busted up TootsieToys. A bit of a meager haul, but better than a stick in the eye!

Silver is silver and any day you find silver is a good day. Congrats!!

Like them tootsies and wheats too, you find either of them in a old yard you know the possibility for silver is good. Makes for an enjoying hunt knowing any minute a silver might show itself.

Wtg Tom. My very first silver found detecting was a '64 and still the favorite one yet. I haven't found any tootsies for a bit now. Hope I get some soon.
