Is it light weight compared to it's size? It almost makes me think of bone or something organic the way it's shaped. I read that if you lick it and your tongue sticks a bit as opposed to the feeling when you tap your tongue against a regular rock you have fossilized bone. That doesn't rule out fossils of other types though. Sorry couldn't be more help. Still learning:)

Looks like limestone, sometimes called country stone, to me. Dont see any indication of fossils but that type of stone can have them depending on location.
