Bought at estate sale. Has real horse hair for tail. Does anyone know approx year or origin?

Circa 1900. Saw one similar sold at Christies in '10 for about $500.

Used to be a partner in the Rocking Horse Antique store. Your horsey does indeed date from 1890-1910, looks to have pretty much original paint(maybe or not), base is solid and tells the age story, and most importantly, the saddle is original. I(and my friend annette) think you can double that $500 easily. These are fairly rare in that condition and you can get your money back tomorrow if you wanted. People go nuts for them(like you did). Now, noriding it after a full meal.

and in your img with the glasses,your horse is prob 18in high and 15in long
that is just the horse not the platform,could you give the measurements of your horse please

19X24 (19" being from bottom to top of ears) - oh and that was with platform. Thank you for the information!
