Not Simunitions. I've fired thousands of rounds of those. The shape of the object doesn't match the chamber of any firearm on this planet as far as I know.

Maybe it's an antique "travel size" roll-on deodorant. :icon_jokercolor:

Seriously, I don't have a clue.

This looks exactly like something my Dad got when he was a kid in the early 40's. He sent in some box tops from cereal or something and got a little box of Lone Ranger items. I distinctly remember a ring that had a bullet on it that looks exactly like the item in your pictures. The back end was red plastic with fins and it came off and I believe you could put some kind of secret message on a little piece of paper inside it. I think that clear part may come out. I am going to try to send the picture to him to see if he thinks that's what your find is. The one my Dad has is in mint condition, came with a glow in the dark belt and a badge of some kind...I think. Pretty sure that is what it is... Nice find. Joe

I
think I got this one
it's a pocket perfume bottle, the clear end is a glass ball that rolls, it has a spring behind it, you push it in and fill it then when you need it, you pull the cover and roll it

DKW, thanks for the Ebay listing. That is the same thing my Dad showed me when I was a youngster. Thats what it is alright! Mystery solved. I bet it may be worth something to someone who may need parts. Who knows. Glad I could help. Joe

Ah. From the days before... When you could put a bit of Plutonium 210 in a kids' ring. Decayed to lead by now and was probably safe enough back then, so long as the kid didn't get curious about what made the scintilations and decided to break it open.
