At first glance it looks like Megalodon teeth and section of jaw but I could be wrong, hard to tell with only one picture with a single view. Got any more pics from a different angle?

Looking at the shape of the teeth, I would think Shark.
But I know nothing about fossils.

True makes me think shark as well.

Do you think there is any value to this piece?

Yes, but as your trying to do, you need to find out precisely what it is first. Then you can research the price. Pretty sure someone will ID it in this forum:
Fossils

Hmm, I should have posted it over there. I wonder if I can get this thread moved to that location, or if I would get in trouble if I reposted it over there.

Just post the question & a link to this post.

Hi there. You have a tooth with the main part broken off, a good piece of the root still intact (what you thought was the jaw) and one of the side cusplets still there, too (this you refer to as the tooth). The image is simply a guide to expalin what I think you have, not saying this is what yours looked like...
A collector may want to buy this one but shark teeth are very common in some parts of the US so really valuable pieces are large, in one piece and should have been positively IDed (which should not be easy in the case of a broken speciment) and have a place of origin too (you only have a general clue to where this could have been found).
You could check with the guys @ The Fossil Forum
