There's a Goodwill outlet here in Florida that has boxes of junk they are about to dispose of. In other words, it's junk that even they can't sell. I find all kinds of stuff there. A few weeks ago, I found 2 small plastic bags. One bag was filled with fossils, stones, sharks teeth and other odd things like this. The second back was filled with bones that turned out to be (I think) animal and bird bones. That bag was kind of creepy. Lord only knows who was collecting the stuff but it landed at Goodwill and they tossed them into their junk bins. I bought the whole load for 25 cents. They were pleased to see it go. This thing is tiny and it is clearly not carved (by human). It seems to be naturally formed. By the way, sometime soon I'm going to photograph some of the other oddities in the bags and post them. I think everyone will find them quite interesting.

Thanks, Judy for the feedback. I sent the photos over to a specialist who maintains a website dedicated to Trilobites. She said it has similarities but is not a Trilobite. I also starting thinking that it looks like the palate and molars of.... hmmmm, something but I don't know what. It's black but it seems to have brownish, almost copper-like highlights. Why does Darth Vader keep popping up in my head?

And they sell for $4 ea.....not a bad investment @ .25c
