Rock? Fossil in rock? Is it really a fossilized tooth? Someone told me it was a Megalodon tooth but I’m (found) in Round Rock, Texas and I don’t think Megs were around when this part of Texas was under water. I’m not an expert by any means, but it's still hard to say just a rock. Help me if ya can.

It would be nice if you could remove it from the other stone. But looks natural to me. I could be wrong though.

It actually has some play in the stone. I can wiggle it slightly in the rock but wasn’t sure if I should try and remove it.

Its very interesting.. I wouldn't remove it until you have ID'd it..if then.
If that is root across the top it may well be some type of tooth. Definitely not Meg.

I see what you’re saying. I have a meg tooth I actually bought and even though this does somewhat have the shape I knew it wasn’t the same. I just don’t have the confidence or knowledge to argue the point. Thanks for your input and help. Nice piece by the way you have there.
