Rock find while out detecting. Bone fossil?

I know the odds are well against it being a fossil of a bone, but that is the first thing that hit me when I saw it. If anyone can help tell me what this is (assuming it is some thing other than a rock) I would appreciate it.

It's darn sure interesting, I'd brought it home myself. I want watch this and see what the experts have to say.

they are always found right on top...
of a pile of diamonds.

Oh wrong rock...

Hey Turtle, Great find! I'm not an expert on fossils ,but I have collected rocks like this myself. I am sending pictures of similar finds. In the dessert portions of Texas calcium carbonate forms around roots of both yucca plants and mesquite trees and bushes.When this happens the process forms rocks much like your finds.
