The gf and I were at Dig and Save (Goodwill Outlet) and found this. You guys always inspire me and I do see an awful lot of paintings getting asked about on here.
This is a numbered print of 120 called Talisman by an artist whose name that I don't recognize. I ripped it out of the frame and since it was by the pound, it only cost me $.25. Whenever something is a quarter, I always like to get it and learn a little from it. I also got a lead crystal Masonic Mug lately at a thrift shop for a quarter and started to see if I could identify crystal (long story short, I have a hard time with it).
Lately, I also picked up two mid-century modern pictures by an Engels, which are land and seascapes that are quite nice for $2.50 each with the frame because people on here seem to do well on pictures.
This print does look like it has some damage, so it's mostly a learning tool instead of a sale. Of course, one loads tilted. It look like a robot with an H on it to the gf, so obviously, it went to Harvard. Can someone help with identifying the signature? Also, once I've gotten more info, is there a better place to list art?
Thanks and happy hunting!
