Friendship Indiana has a large antique/flea market twice a year. They host a large black powder gun rendezvous. rendezvous items such as weapons, skins and miscellaneous items can be found. My grandfather used to go there in the late 60s and early 70 to purchase his hunting supplies. LOTS of knives and guns.

My wife and I have been going off and on for about 20 years. Always an interesting time. The bikers are there and combined with those camping along the river liven up the town at the tavern, expecially when the band kicks off. Friendship is a small town. No stop light and only a handful of stop signs.

A number of folks had relic for sale. Interestingly enough, in the flea market section there are a few that have reproductions. In the antique area there were some nice authentic relics, a few repro, but the vendor stated such. which was a plus.

The guy with these was from Kentucky and was a knapper. He had a large amount of Harrison County nodules.

We sat at the bar and had lunch. I think they had ten barstools. The bar open in 1923.

Afterwards we sat on the bench and had another beer. That is the gas station - note the sign saying so.

Man that's funny. We used to go to Friendship when I was a kid 60 years ago. Always had a great time there. Can't believe that still going. That's cool

We went once probably in the mid 70's. I had no idea it still is in operation. I was doing a lot of black powder shooting back then. Unfortunately, those activities are for younger folks. I'd need a golf cart to be able to see any of it these days. A couple years ago we went to the zoo and had to rent battery scooters.

We prob passed each other Dog!!! We scored some Jeep junk there. Weather was great, surprised it didn't rain like it always does :icon_scratch:
