Took yesterday and today off for mental health. Started my morning yesterday with breakfast at my favorite bagel shop. Afterwards picked up my box of halves and proceeded down the road to the next two towns. First stop, teller had three halves that I purchased, zapped. The 2nd through 13th bank had no halves. As I was walking out of the 14th bank, another teller said he had 12 Large dollars and asked if I wanted those. I said sure, as he was carrying them over I could see the Silver Ike right in the middle. :headbang: Paid for them and left. Stopped at bank 15 - 18 with no luck
either. At bank 19 there were no halves or Ikes but I did get the teller's number and a promise that she would call if she gets any. What also makes bank 19 special is that when I went to start my truck, nothing, nada, zip, zilch happened. >:( Florida eats batteries for breakfast, lunch and dinner with no warning that the sun has just ate your battery. Phoned my son who came to my rescue and gave me a jump, drove to Wally World for a replacement.... :hello2:

Stopped at a bank right next to my house and they had 3 rolls and two loose ones. I took them all as well, looked at them after I parked in the Lowes Parking lot and found two 67 40%'s in the
last roll. The box opened at home was a total skunk but I still got silver for the day. :laughing7:

I feel your pain on the battery...my car battery gave up the ghost this week too. Still haven't figured out how one day it can seem fine and the next it just won't hold a charge. At least you found some silver this week, which is more than I can say.

Mental health day, lol. Hope your employer doesnt read this post. Nice snag on the Ike.

Really nice find! Don't worry about the grammar usage or sentence structure. :laughing9: It is proper to employ your native vernacular when utilizing email or posting on sites, such as T-Net. Trust me when I tell you that I once had an individual on this website scorn me for my own Texas lingo. :) And the guys came to my rescue :laughing7:

May silver rain down on all next week.

It would be ok. I haven't had a "real" vacation in over two years, just a couple of days here and there to make four day weekends and such. He gave me the two days off because he could see I was starting to unravel at the seams... :laughing7:

I work "Year" round at a school district as opposed to teachers and other support staff who only work 196 days or so. Year round employees are 255 days and get vacation and sick leave, there is only 249 of us in the district. The rest of the employees do not get vacation, just sick/personal leave.

Good God, I have not heard "Vernacular" in over 15 years. One of my co-workers from Seattle loved that word.
