Woke up early to take an out of state road trip. I had planned to hit four states in a day, but due to unforeseen circumstances had to put off this trip.
I ended up hunting in State which, is kind of a waste of time. Kept running into dumps left by "Suspect Zero" (marks his rolls with a zero with a line through it), "Mr. X", "Chief Yellow Stripe" ( Leaves a horizontal yellow stripe on the roll), and the "Doodler"(who leaves a perfect black vertical line around the roll). These guys indiscriminately dump at banks that were in the past very accommodating, and a good source of silver.
They have now become a clad outhouse.
Always wary, I only pick-up a couple of rolls when a teller says they have a lot of halves. When I catch the markings, I don't buy anymore.
Still I picked up about $500.00 in halves and only got 6 40%. Better than nothing.
Tomorrow I get the big find.
