Went out a week or so ago and hit a Road Tear out here locally.
It was starting to seem like it was a bust when I finally got my firs coin signal.
It was turbo green so I was hoping it was an IH...But after a little cleaning I saw the Wheatback
Was heading back to the car, and I got a solid 80 on the ATP...Thinking its another Wheat I will have to chip out of the solid ground, I almost left it there. But signals were scarce so I dug it up.
Out pops a beat up worn Barber Dime!!..its wild because I have had Barbers read dead on 80 this year
Anyway, Got home to clean up the junk Wheats and noticed it was a 1914-something.
Ive been soaking it in Oil, hoping i can make out a mint mark, or if im just seeing thing.
I know its toasted, but would be cool to actually be a key date.
Thanks for looking!
