Road construction, 1522 coin maybe?...

The city is building a small side road near these old cellars. They just scraped off the top soil so I got out there for a quick hunt before they paved it over. These fields around the cellars have been very good in the past, I’ve seen pictures of Hitler standing on top of the left cellar during a parade.

Found this small one sided silver coin, looks like 1522. Need to do some research on it. HH, Mike

Super sweet find. That thing is gorgeous.

Seen a lot of pics of old stuff from europe, but not this one. Good luck on the research, I look forward to hearing what it is.

Coin was Ided, a German hammered, Haus Habsburg Ferdinand I. 1521-1564. One sided Pfennig. Here's a similar coin.
