I’m an avid field hunter for arrowheads but today I found something in the river that has me puzzling. I believe it’s made from coal which is a fairly common site along the bank I was fishing in. I can tell it’s been damaged or worn down over time. The hole is to perfect to be natural in my opinion and the whole thing is sort of stream lined but I have no idea what it is. My buddy found a sandstone tool here a few years ago. Let me know your thoughts.

Welcome Spirit, cool find!

I found one similar to this but made of clay and much smaller.

Best wishes!

I don't know what it is, but it reminds me I need to finish that jigsaw puzzle that been set up in the living room since Christmas.

Man the material is to soft to be an arrow straightener I would imagine. My uncle said he thought it could be an effigy but I’ve never seen one like it or this big. It’s it is an effigy I have no idea what it resembles. I’m at a loss of words for it.
