Do you ever do a risk assessment for a site or just take your chances. Normanly I just take my chances but the next site I've got in mind has a long and varied history heavy involvement in WWI and WWII local gossip has it they were shipping suppiles and troops out from the area a couple of unexploded mines have been washed up about six miles from where I'm intending on hunting recently.

Subconsciously - we all do "risk assessments" for damn near every decision we make... don't you think?
good point but I mean to consciously do them with all the variable's worked out ie the height of the cliff that danger sign the skeltons with rusty metal detectors that kinda of thing
