I also twice found piles of 7 to 8 wheat pennies at the base of two separate trees no silver coins with em errrrr!!!!!! Also a salt shaker and an old razor. I haven't posted in a while cause I couldn't figure out why my pics weren't uploading till I changed the size on my phone. Thanks for looking @@@@@@@@ Tommy

love it all, I once dug up a woman's razor still in an ornate metal box. I also use an old one that my wife's father used 45 years ago before he died. awesome finds

Wow that made my day any idea what the tag was used for or what the RY at the end means Rail Yard? Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction!!!!!!

I have an old gold Gillette Aristocrat from the 40's or so I try to use now and again. Those double edge razors cut clean but take some learning. Nice old relics.

Sweet digs A2, glad to see you are posting again. I hate the feeling of uploading a pic to find out it's too big to post.

I believe it to be a Baggage Tag, really good stuff.

I'm with PulltabPete Tommy. Your tag looks like a Railway Baggage Tag. Thats a very nice find, among the rest of your items. Congrats.

nice range of finds

Congrats Tommy! You got all sorts of cool stuff.

I like the baggage tag... as I have yet to find one.

Best of luck to you!

Congrats on the finds Tommy! Your hunts always come back with some cool items!

Really nice finds A2coins, seems you had a great day! Congrats and HH!

Oh man, great haul! There's more there, go get it! :notworthy:
My mom almost died, when she realized I was using her razor at like 7 yrs old, looked just like the one in your pic, sans the dirt, lol. It's in a box in a closet somewhere, now. Along with her old razor sharpener.
Recognize that salt shaker, grandma had that set.
Your pin looks to be Girl Scout. It's possible to date it from the GS site. (I only glanced, and it's not real clear in the pic, but I think that's what it is, apologies if I'm mistaken).
Lemme try to find that link for ya.

Evoluntion of the Girl Scout Membership Pin

Like I said, there's more on that property, go find it, and report back!
chop chop..... :laughing7:

I just looked at the letters on the tag and thought they looked like a railroad. Thank goodness for the internet. Looks like that railroad only existed a couple of years in the 1890's , I like when you can date some of these finds.

I'm only about 15 minutes up Pontiac Trail from A2, maybe we can get out sometime.

HH,

Pete
