The Tennessee Trio hosted 3 friends on a long overdue 4 hour hunt at a U.S. CW camp today. Ringfinder (Denny) and Gary from Ohio were visiting with Tennessee Earl from s town about 40 miles away. The Trio had previously met them during some Virginia hunts in 2009. The pic at the beginning of our hunt shows Doug, Earl, Gary, and Ringfinder.
Dman (Doug) and I met them and they rode to the camp with us. Josh came later but had to leave after hunting only an hour to report to work early. He dug the “J” hook in the pic (he loves knapsack hooks-LOL)), a dropped .58 3 ringer, and the end of a spoon not shown in our hunt finds from today.
Gary and Denny both found buttons and Earl got in on the bullet finds as well. Denny dug a nice dropped Enfield and they are few and far between in that camp. I think we dug 25 bullets total during the short hunt along with a cartridge box finial, equipment buckle, spur buckle, and other relics.
The weather was great and the Trio enjoyed reuniting with our friends again. Everyone dug relics and that made the reunion even more satisfying. Relics come and go-friends like these are forever. HH from the Trio, Quindy.
NOTE: Ringfinder made a video that he will post later.
