I was able to get out for 1.5 hours on Friday after work. I hit a new ball field with Shovelnose and Mangum. A few minutes into the hunt Shovelnose pulls an awesome Palladium and Citrine ring but ill let him tell you about it. A few minutes later I'm hunting the sidelines and get a weird 12.10 signal. I dug down and pulled a crushed gold plated ring with a small fake diamond which is ring #20 for the year. I stuck the pinpointer in and got another signal. 2" down I pulled another ring. This one was Gold with a big pink heart stone and #21 for the year. It tested for 14kt. I checked the hole one more time and got other signal and pulled out another ring #22. This one was a junk ring. I then stood up and scanned the hole with my detector and got a high tone 4" to the left of the hole where i pulled the three rings. I dug it out and it turned out to be a 925 band which is #23. This is my first ring cache. A few minutes later I got a 12 10 signal and pulled a stainless ring. You can say I had a 5 ring quadfector. One Gold, One Silver, One Stainless, Two Junk and if you count Shovelnose's Palladium we found rings with a total of 5 different metals. Mangum also pulled a junk ring. Wow!
