I found what is left of a ring. On the inside is says "Letzeiser Oklahoma" I found a Letzeiser and company in Oklahoma city in the 1910's and 1920's that made class rings etc. Does anyone have any idea what the crest on this ring means? I believe part of the ribbon on the crest says "rns" or "nns".
Jewelry: Letzeiser & Company, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Letzeiser & Company, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: Jewelry Design Album; Original Drawings & Photographs, 1935-1940 [Cover title label]. Oklahoma City, ca. 1935-40. A unique album of the jewelry produced by the firm of Letzeiser & Company, consisting of 46 sheets of tan file folder paper, each with numerous mounted original drawings and photographs. There are approximately 265 detailed drawings and some 150 photos of fine art deco period jewelry, mostly from the late 1930s, but some dated in the late 1920s and several dated 1940 as well.
It is only the top part of the ring. There are no other markings. I am going to take it to a jeweler and see what they say. I will post what I find out.
