Hi all thought I d ask if anyone knows what this is, I dug it up in a field where there was a roman camp and it looks old but don t know what it can be.I thought it was a washer so didnt give it too much thought at first even though it gave a brill signal, but after washing noticed it looks like its hand made ,gold with silver beneath .also its not made from a flat strip of metal but has rounded edges ,about 1.25 inches in circumference.also doesnt look like anything else has been attached to it .any help?

Its really hard to tell from the picture, I don't think its very old or valuable.... Looks like a ring used in industry or machines....

Keep @ it and HH !!

I lived in england for a few years and i can tell you there's so much stuff in the ground from roman times. My neighbor dug up some roman coins in her flower bed.
Just down the road from me in the town of Sawtry they found many coins and jewelry from the romans.

I think you have a ring.
