ring the bell, wake the neighbors--1st 3 silver day & enough wheat to make a pizza
after the monsoons overnight, decided to go fishin' with FMERG. we hit 2 parcels, where I scored a 1st ever acorn crotal/sleigh bell at 1 1/2" X 1 1/8", weighing 1.15 ounces. sweet sounding brass with the thumper. we got bored and drove to parcel 2 and it was RAINING SILVER and COPPER. Frank bagged a Merc., an LC, then he hit it out of the county with a BIG,FAT BRITTANIA that will have a date (early 1700's). I had to settle for 2 Mercs., a well worn first ever Barber quarter, a grumpy crusty Buff. that appears to be a '24, then '15, '16, '29, '36, '40 and '42 Wheats then add some relicky type copper and brass----- hey we don't need no stinkin' clad----we are DIGGERS BABY we will go back and beat that ground 'til it bleeds, then we will beat it for bleedin'.
