Ring returned thru club

The South Jersey Metal Detecting Club has a function whereby the webmaster/membership chairman, Dan, locates and returns class rings, etc. that the members have found to the persons who lost them. Previously, he has returned a gold high school ring that I found in Laughlin, NV to a masseuse in Las Vegas. Recently, I found a class ring dated 1986 in one of the local parks. So, I gave the ring to Dan. Dan found out that the guy who lost it now lives in upstate New York, but his father still lives in this area. So, Dan returned the ring to the father to give to his son. They were both very grateful for the return of the ring which was lost some 20 years ago.
