After I found the college class ring last week and tracked down the owner everyone told me I'd have good karma. My goals for this year were to find 50 pieces of silver and 200 wheats. I went out on Saturday and found two Rosies and 9 wheats. The wheats put me over the 200 mark to 202, but the Rosies were #43 and #44. Today I went to the post office to mail the ring to the owner. It's supposed to get to over 100 degrees so after I left the PO, I picked up my buddy and we headed out for a short morning hunt. After about four hours of hunting I had three more silvers and my buddy picked up a Rosie and Merc for himself. So I have three more silvers to get to my goal. Hopefully the karma will continue for a few more weeks and I can pick up the last three coins. I'm leaving on Thursday for a week long hiking/backpacking trip and I don't want it to wear off while I'm gone! I also have been wondering who is throwing out all the clad in my hunt area. I saw him driving by today in a red TootsieToy truck and he's headed your way!
