'Ring' in the New Year
Finally got out for 2008. I was coming back from a hike and stopped by a park on 9W in Newburgh. The snow might be gone, but the ground is frozen. I hunted about a half hour, picked up .28 in clad, a few pulltabs and bottlecaps, a piece of an eyeglass frame, and a silver onyx ring. I might wait a while to hunt again because it's easy to damage targets when the ground's as hard as ice cream that's been in the furthest back corner of the freezer.
