The ring has been IDed as a Rosary ring (bead ring) or called a prayer ring. Most will have 10 beads or knots but mine has 12. The small oval picture is of Marie holding the baby Jesus. HH, Mike

Got out for 1.5 hours and had a good time.? Was above freezing, still have 3+? of snow on most of my hometown fields.? Made a few interesting finds and not much trash.? Here?s the finds:
A small square with a ?G? in the middle and an ornate wreath around it, a small shot caliber musket ball and a 1940ish brass/aluminum 5 Pfennig coin that didn?t hold up well.

Obverse of a 1927 copper 10 Czechoslovakian Kroenung, not sure what their cents are called.

A nice little copper religious ring, it has 12 knots around the loop, the top piece was oval, has a Pope or priest on it with a saying around the legend, I can?t read the wording but I think it translates to ?God please help me with finds? LOL!

Close up of the ring top.? Had a great time out there like always.? HH, Mike

Interesting find, Mike.

3 inches of snow...well, I'd better get out there. We only have 1 or 2 inches.

Very nice!! What do you think the G is? A seal stamp maybe? Ring looks really old. WTG!!! HH

Great finds as always Mike. No snow here :) but not much time to hunt either. I got out for a couple of hours .About 38 degrees today.

Interesting finds especially the ring. The knotted loop must be some kind of clue as to the type of ring you found-no?

Great digs Mike. That ring is awesome! I always look forward to your posts because of the great historical artifacts that you find. And to think that you're digging through 3 " of snow.
