Ive Had this ring for several years and I was hoping some of you antique pros could help. It has no markings on the inside but plainly it is silver and hand made. The only markings on the inside are the marks from the work on the outside. So if you can help with origin and or dating I would be very thankfull!
I added another picture. Itseems to be a horse by the nostrals allso seems to be parts of arrows in front of the horse????

I can't really help on the ID, but that is one fine custom made ring. If I were to venture a guess, I would say it was American Indian :dontknow:

:icon_thumright: wtg on the find but good god thats a big chunky ring

More than likely made before the mid 1930's. After that time period, people tended to associate the swastika with Hitler's Germany. Beautiful ring!

Is that a Swastika on the ring or a decoration that just looks like one?

It's a swastika but most likely before the Nazi party adopted it as their symbol. The actual symbol has been in existance for hundreds of years and denotes good luck.

I think what you have is more likely a napkin ring.

Beautiful piece of silver!
I am sure that it is Navajo or Hopi.
I grew up in their land and saw tons of the older pieces of jewelry.

Well if you're so sure show us some similar examples and clear it up instead of attitude.

Hey!Hey! Guys just some friendly comments. I assure you it was not a napkin ring,But if you look at the back edges of the ring you can see that one edg is straight and the other is curved? It possibly could have been another piece or just crudly made. I have sent this info to a indian jewelry expert. Waiting! Go boiz!
