🏆 HONORABLE MENTION Ring found and returned

My friend contacted me and told me of a young college couple that lost a wedding ring at a local park. He asked me if I could help. Between work and canning 80 quarts of peaches I arranged to meet with the wife. I met the wife with infant in tow and she showed me the general area that she thought the ring was in. Within ten minutes I pulled her husband's wedding band out of the grass and gave it to her. The excitement she expressed made the whole trip worth it. I then packed up my stuff and headed home to do some canning. It was one of the best finds ever but next time I'm taking my camera.
