I found a large mens ring on the beach today with red stone and the numbers 141, does any one know what these numbers mean?

Muddy congrats on the ring, where did it read on your machine. sometimes you can get an idea based on where it read. example mens ring that is silver will usually read up high where as gold will read pull tab area sometimes nickle.

Nice find, my best thought of the "141" stamp would be gold "14K" with the "K" being worn down some. Could be white gold and maybe the red stone is really a ruby. You might have an awesome find there, have it checked by a jeweler if you can. HH, Mike
