>MH< is the mark of McGrath-Hamin, a jewelry firm based in Providence, RI, since 1907. They were acquired by another Providence jewelry company, Vargas Mfg., Inc. in 1980. According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, this mark was first commercially used in 1951, and was cancelled in 2002.
