Finally went to a local swimming hole I've been wanting to hit all summer. Only a about five kids there, all in the way. With the whole place to swim, one of them actually stepped on my scoop as he tried to go between me and my floating sifter :BangHead:. Anyway, I wasn't disappointed. First time getting more than one ring. First time with 18k too. :hello2:
11 quarters, 5 dimes, 2 nickels, 1 copper cent and 8 zincolns.
First ring was a huge tungston-carbide (13g) I believe. No markings on it.
A few quarters later and the 18K came up (2.2g). Can't see real close, so wasn't sure if it was gold or junk.
A few more coins, then a junk kids ring, followed immediately by the hefty .925 (5.7g)
Can't wait to go back, plenty of water left to detect.

Ummm.....No. :censored:

Thanks all. I do love water hunting. So different than land.
Funny, I posted them in the Today's Finds under "3 Ringer". I think the relic guys looked and didn't like, and the ring people thought it was a relic find so didn't look. LOL.
I prefer the Beach and Shallow Water crowd anyway. :occasion14:

Nice finds and the 18k looks like its been down there for some time. Yes water is the way to go. No correction stay in the dirt.
